Nora’s photography journey began ten years ago. Through her commitment as a content developer in the beginning of her creative work, Nora became more curious about studying the fine elements of visual enhancement by analyzing placements of color and the utilization of negative space.
In 2017, Nora began shooting for The Beacon, and continued photojournalism for a year. In the summer of 2018, Nora had worked for the downtown improvement district, Portland Downtown as an intern capturing and advertising local businesses as well as developing the organization’s Instagram platform for potential tourists.
Also, in the summer of 2018, Nora was introduced to digital imaging for cultural heritage as a student employee. A year later, she was promoted to work with the camera as a Student Production Associate while learning the technicality of digital imaging photography from one of the best 3D imaging photographers in the country.
Nora is currently preparing for MRes to discover the functions of light and color on human perception as she continue working in digital imaging.
